The Aalto vase dates back to 1936, presented at the Paris International Exposition the following year. Its fluid and harmonious shape is still hand-blown in the Iittala factory today: a team of seven expert craftsmen are needed who work in perfect harmony to create an Aalto vase, an icon of modern design.
