The Applique à Volet Pivotant is a designer wall lamp created by Charlotte Perriand in 1962 for her mountain chalet in Méribel, in the French Alps. An icon of modernist lighting, it combines form and function in perfect balance, reinterpreted today in vibrant and contemporary versions in yellow, red, blue, and white.
This adjustable wall lamp consists of a metal structure and an adjustable aluminum shutter (volet), designed to modulate the light beam with simplicity and elegance. The indirect and diffused light towards the wall creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while the adjustable beam allows for personalized lighting according to the needs of the space.
The version with an E14 fitting is equipped with an integrated switch, cable, and plug, for easy installation without masonry work. Ideal for domestic, contract, or hospitality environments, this wall lamp stands out for its architectural character and strong chromatic touch, becoming a decorative as well as functional element.
