Binary Stool

Binaria is much more than just a stool: it is an ergonomic seat designed to improve posture and well-being during seated but dynamic work activities. Born from the collaboration between doctor Jordi Badía and industrial designer Otto Canalda, this innovative project by BD Barcelona Design combines science, design, and functionality in a single object.

Its patented shape, the result of in-depth anthropometric study, is designed to maintain an ideal posture, with a 135° angle between the back and legs. The central opening of the seat promotes the natural positioning of the legs and improves the stability of the hip joint, making Binaria ideal for all those jobs that require active movement even while seated.
