The basket is initially made on a lathe as a perfectly regular container; it is then mechanically compressed, giving rise to its final shape. It is precisely this phase that makes each piece unique: the controlled deformation of the metal creates surprisingly harmonious geometric folds on the bottom, reminiscent of squares, pentagons, hexagons, and octagons, creating a fascinating balance between order and unpredictability.

Compressioni Basket Alessi is an object that combines functionality and formal research, ideal as a designer storage basket, a contemporary centerpiece, or a decorative element for modern environments.
