Alessi's Sarrià Basket is an iconic object of contemporary design that expresses a deliberately imperfect and deeply human aesthetic. Designed by the Catalan architect Lluís Clotet, this stainless steel basket is inspired by the shape of a crumbled sheet of paper, transforming a spontaneous and informal gesture into a refined designer furnishing accessory.

Made of 18/10 stainless steel, Sarrià is characterized by irregular and asymmetrical surfaces, capable of generating unpredictable reflections that are always different depending on the light and viewpoint. This workmanship deliberately breaks with the idea of formal perfection, bringing the object closer to the dimension of human thought and craftsmanship, a distinctive feature of Clotet's design language.
