The Shiva vase is a symbolic sculpture vase by Ettore Sottsass. The smooth, curved body of the vase refers to the Hindu god Shiva, who was often represented by a phallic devotional sculpture, the 'Lingam'. Shiva vases are 'small architectures... like small monuments' capable of creating energy wherever they are placed.
